Mark Gonzalez is a dance artist from Edinburg, Texas. He received a BFA in Dance with an emphasis in Performance and Choreography and a minor in Theatre from Texas State University. Gonzalez has had the privilege to train with and perform works by Alice Klock and Florian Lochner, Mike Esperanza, Joshua L. Peugh, Andy and Dionne Noble, Matthew Farmer, Monique Haley, Katlin Bourgeois and Shonna Hickman Matlock. After leaving Texas, Mark trained and performed with The Dayton Contemporary Dance Company 2 and was a scholarship recipient for the 2022 Giordano Dance Chicago workshop and Flockworks. Gonzalez recently finished his first season with Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre where he had the privilege to go on tour as an Apprentice. Outside of performing, Mark's had the privilege to present his own choreography and dance for films regionally, nationally and internationally. Mark currently guest freelances with C5 Create With No Limits and AJA Talent and is excited to join Identity Performing Arts for his first season. Mark is a firm believer in the power of passion and hard work.
